VIEW CONFERENCE 2025

My 3rd year at VIEW Conference in Turin, Italy! This year was a lot more intense, with videos being edited and released daily. The usual long-form interviews were done and the new thing this year was a push for more short-form content. Interviews were with a bunch of cool creatives in the industry, from films such as: KPOP DEMON HUNTERS, SINNERS, ELIO, AVATAR: FIRE AND ASH, and a lot more! I handled the entire production, from camera and sound to editing and color correction. The total number of videos I shot were: 20 long-form interviews and around 60 shorts!

VIEW CONFERENCE 2024

This was my 2nd year working with VIEW Conference and CGW (Computer Graphics World) to create/shoot/and edit loads of interviews with leaders in the film/VFX/and animation world in Turin, Italy. It was amazing getting to meet and film such inspiring creatives, including: Jonathan Nolan (Fallout, The Batman Trilogy, & Westworld), Alec Gillis (Alien: Romulus), Kelsey Mann (Inside Out 2), Amy Sheem (Moana 2), Shannon Tindle (Ultraman:Rising), and a bunch more. I also captured daily re-cap videos of the conference to be shown the day after in the exhibit halls.

BERKELEY SYMPHONY

I worked with BSO and Music Director Joseph Young to create the announcement videos for their 2023/2024 Season, including edits optimized for social media. Those videos were shot on location at Freight & Salvage in Berkeley, CA. I also worked with the organization to create a short fundraising documentary spotlighting their “Music in the Schools” program, interviewing various participants and organizers. Coming soon is a short vignette covering the rehearsal leading up to the premiere of “Enduring Stories”.

As well as video, I also handled numerous photoshoots covering symphony concerts, rehearsals, and fundraising events.

VIEW CONFERENCE 2023

I worked with View Conference and CGW (Computer Graphics World) to create/shoot/and edit 24 interviews with leaders in the film/VFX/and animation world. It was a fun challenge to bring a whole lot of gear halfway around the world to Turin Italy, and to shoot all of these in-depth interviews in 5 days!

Photoshoot with legendary director Werner Herzog. I had the privilege of photographing him for Sound & Picture Magazine’s cover story. Shot in the historic Vista Theatre in Los Angeles.
